Katie Russell

Katie began volunteering at the ranch in 2018 and quickly developed a love and appreciation for working with the horses. Although she is no longer on island, Katie continued to help the horses by designing and operating the Golden Age Ranch website.

American Bridge Company

American Bridge Company made an overwhelmingly generous donation of materials and manpower to rebuild and improve the facilities of the ranch. Their donation has allowed us to provide better and more efficient care for our horses.

Matt Ress

Matt donated his heavy equipment to improving the ranch, clearing space, and removing junk. Without his support, many of our new updates to the ranch would not have been possible.

Jaden Muse

Jaden is a valued volunteer at the ranch. She has been of great help in training and caring for the horses.

Christian Veterinary Mission

A wonderful team from the Christian Veterinary Mission visited the Ranch recently. All the horses got dental treatment ( teeth floated) and hooves tended to. Inoculations as well. We have been given a clean bill of health and are enormously grateful.

Eric and Alex Mitchell

Thank you Eric Mitchell and his brother Alex for coming down from Maryland to tend to our horses. Eric is an excellent farrier who donated his time to evaluate 20 horses and care for their immediate needs. We are now on our way to recovery! Still need time to heal, but the future looks brighter!

Tribute to Jerry James

Forever in our hearts

It is with a heavy and broken heart that we mourn the passing of our beloved Jerry James. Jerry’s many friends, fans and supporters meant so much to him. You all enriched his life as he did enrich so many who had the good fortune of knowing him. Jerry managed the ranch dating back 11 years when we embarked on the journey “Golden Age Ranch”. He loved giving children lessons, training a new horse and of course sharing his love of his horses and beloved Virgin Islands with his riders. Rest In Peace Jerry. You are sorely missed.
